G5 Theoretical Module O-2.1. This course is to follow the documented safety training plan for operators of offshore cranes in accordance with rules on qualification requirements for the operation of cranes as determined by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate and the Norwegian Maritime Directorate.

This new EREC is a major upgrade from the previous G5/4-1 that was last updated in October 2005. This course provides an excellent opportunity to learn from some of the contributors who helped shape this new EREC G5 Theoretical Module O-2.1. This course is to follow the documented safety training plan for operators of offshore cranes in accordance with rules on qualification requirements for the operation of cranes as determined by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate and the Norwegian Maritime Directorate.
